Groovy SparkleUps Kit Review
The Beauty Queen turned ten a couple of weeks ago. We spent the weekend at Snowbird enjoying the cooler mountain temperatures, dipping in the pool and enjoying time together. The kiddos were sad when it was time to pack up and leave. When they arrived home, the Groovy SparkleUps Kit, from the Orb Factory were waiting to save the day!
Both my girls are into the Hippie vibe. They love the happy colors and fun designs. I selected the Groovy SparkleUps kit. When The Beauty Queen saw it her eyes lit up and she was giddy with anticipation.
I remember paint by numbers as a kid. In fact, my mom and I started one when I was maybe eight that involved clowns. Each night we would do one number. Then I had a babysitter, who decided to finish it for us. SparkleUps are like paint by numbers, only instead of paint, they use self-adhering jewels.
Above is a picture of one of the decal pieces from the SparkleUps Groovy kit. It's a shoe fashionable in the 1970s! You match the sparkling jewels to a numbered legend and add to these funky far-out decals numbers to make them fun!
The Groovy SparkleUps kit comes with 15 reusable stickers to decorate mirrors, windows, notebooks, and more! Create totally groovy designs by matching sparkling tiles to a numbered legend. Best of all, these stickers can be peeled right off with no residue and reused for years to come. That's something I can get behind.
The girls had a great afternoon together matching the jewels to the legend and putting on the decals. And then the fun really began. They put them on their walls, on their iPods, on notebooks and backpacks. They even got silly!
It's been two weeks and the Groovy SparkleUps are still going strong. They are moved continuously as new places are found to add some Hippie Happy too! I'm impressed by the quality and thankful the jewels stay put on the decal.
If you're looking for a quality activity that goes beyond just the "put together" we recommend a SparkleUps kit. They're out of this world fun!
