Cheering for the Underdog Sometimes Inspires You to Find Yourself

Some moments of inspiration seem drenched in sugar and fabricated to give us the desire to become someone amazing. There are moments when we cheer for the underdog and daydream of watching them find the winners' circle. I suppose there are even times when the underdog, no matter how many championships he earns, no matter how many odds he defies....will always be, in some way, the underdog.

Sometimes there's a story like Ricky James' where you hope for the odds to be destroyed, for the sun to shine and the stars to shine brighter than before on their behalf.

You find yourself disappointed.

Then, too, are the times when you find someone who is NOT defined by their underdog status.

You find them as champions of their own domain, reaching out and touching others with this insatiable passion that ignites something within yourself.

Something that says, "I can be better".
